 I'd like someone who has the Viz manga or an accurate Japanese translation to provide those quotes. None of what Ginyu or Goku says shows up in the strength checker.

 But the quote about Goku saying it would be over if Ginyu got Vegeta wouldn't be in the strength checker anyways. It isn't really a power statement.

And for the last scan you linked, Vegeta explains that Goku isn't "cold-hearted" enough to become a Super Saiyan, not pointing to strength being the determining factor.

This is all from the Japanese anime, though, as I don't have the Viz volumes of most of the Freeza arc, unfortunately.

 Japan anime is much more trustworthy. However the same statement remains. Goku knows Gohan and Krillin will lose if Ginyu takes over Vegeta.

 Doesn't require Vegeta to be >180,000 though, only >90,000, just sayin'. You can have him at 250,000 or wherever but it can be under 180k.

 True. Vegeta also doesn't have any limiters like Kaio-ken, though. When Ginyu took Goku's body, he was under the assumption that that 180,000+ was Goku's natural power and that he'd be able to access it willingly.

With a natural power of 90,000, Ginyu was able to access only 23,000 of that. Vegeta only has to be 100,000-110,000 (33,000-43,000 assuming there's a linear connection) for Ginyu's hypothetical estimations to be correct. Saying Vegeta has to be 250,000 isn't anymore true than me saying he has to be 100,000.

 I'm fine with you saying he is over 100k. I think that would be the limit to what i would put him.
